I just don't understand why im discovering this in 2025.
Im getting the funny feeling im not the only one who feels like I've slipped through a portal in time.
Ive literally never seen anyone play a handpan in person.

The weirdest thing about it is the intelligence behind the design. My brain nearly exploded when i learned how they work.

My first was a Ayasa D Kurd 10. Considered a classic beginner scale. I outgrew it far too fast. I wish I had bought something with more to it. Currently leaning towards an E Amara 20, but the scale in their most recent video, the C Ashakiran 17 is really interesting and might just be what I pick.

I am interested in learning how to play the hand pan. As investment I’d rather purchase an instrument I can grow with. Anyone have any suggestions. Would be very much appreciated. Love the sound of the Anasa’s d Aegean 18 ember steel.
