Events like this would have been national news non-stop 10-20 years ago, yet today I barely knew this happened.

My husbabd and I were in Yelliwstone the week before when it was snowing, Yellowstone Lake had ice, and the landscape looked surreal, like a scene from Game of Thrones. Seeing videos of washed out roads where we had driven just days before was also surreal.
