Hi, first time Xbox controller user here! I bought one for PC, connected via bluetooth, but found out it works only when plugged with USB cable. I noticed that it seems to have some space for AA batteries. If I've plugged it to PC for power source, why does it also require bluetooth to work?

well the first part is totally feckin useless where to plug other end of the cable is it any usb socket what do you do after that. seems more interested in the blue tooth than anything else

Doesn't work. When I push the wireless button on the controller, the light doesn't go on.
EDIT: the batteries weren't full enough. You should have indicated that a quick flickering only when you press the button indicates low batteries.

if your remote vibrates and turns off your holding the button for to long, hold it for 3 seconds and let it pop up on your bluetooth settings
