I've never liked the Chili Peppers. But I do have a great respect and admiration for Chad. He's a great drummer and an intelligent person. Seems like a really nice guy, down to earth, completely unspoiled by success. And he's still here doing it after 40 years, which says volumes. And he knows greatness, as I've seen him pay tribute to some of my own big drum heros. He's so right, what he's saying right here...

Thanks to Chad. It’s good to hear someone talking about how to succeed in the performimg arts isn’t being on a TV show with a few clever comebacks to the ctitics. Even to do well as a hobby with friends in a band takes a lot of effort, organising everything and practicing alone and with the band. Then organising your performances is another struggle. By the time you’re done all that as an amateur for 15 years you’re pretty well equipped to cope with a lot. It’s great when it goes well. All worth it. The passion with which Chad talks about playing and performing you can feel at all levels. Live it comes to life.

I've heard a lot o f these guys talk about 2-3 sets per night 6-7 days a week I call BS. Nope, it didn't happen. That's not really possible especially when it comes to the vocalist(s). You likely played A LOT! But these claims are Hyperbolic at best.
