Learn how to speak my language - Xitsonga.

BACKGROUND:
This is a native language in South Africa 🇿🇦. It falls within the 11 South African languages with over 4 million people who use it. A person who speaks Xitsonga is called Tsonga. Tsongas have dominated in Limpopo particularly in Giyani and other towns.

I am Tsonga by surmane 🙈🙈and used to speak the language with my grandfather, but I was not very fluent. My mother is Pedi, I grew up in a Tswana-dominated area, and did Setswana at school. I always found it difficult to switch between the languages. I could understand Tsonga but had difficulty responding. Unfortunately, my grandfather passed away in 2015, and now it seems like I have forgotten even simple phrases that I used to know. I am on a journey of re-learning. Thank you for this 🤗🤗. My few years in Jozi forced me to learn Zulu so now it is time to go back to my roots 😂😂.
