This song makes me emotional. It's like comforting my past self. I was such a broken child. I was just a kid trying to do kid things. None of what happened should have happened. If only back then I could've met that little me and given her the hug she desperately needed and deserved. Maybe then she wouldn't have suffered for so long. Maybe then I still wouldn't be trying to fix myself. Maybe then childhood memorabilia wouldn't make me so sad and bitter. Maybe then I'd be happy.
