Old MUSIC DVDs are worth HOW MUCH?!?

Who knew that some older music & concert DVDs would be collectable? I dig through my collection and show you some of my favorites as well as some that cost more than when they were new!

For anyone wanting to check how much something is quickly I highly recommend the FBA Scan app and you can see how much it goes for on amazon just by scanning the barcode. Definitely a time saver for looking up/selling media.

You have an awesome collection. And a lot of the prices of VHS/Beta tapes of 70's-80's rock concerts or video compilations that have never been reissued on DVD/BluRay are going through the roof on Ebay too.

Man you just made me want to dig out all of my music DVDs! I had a bunch of them, I'm worried as they are stored in boxes somewhere with all my other DVDs. I just hope I still have them!

Great to see Opeth getting some love! Got Lamentations and Roundhouse in my collection as well. Also the Royal Albert Hall gig is pretty epic. They did their 20 year anniversary tour across a brunch of great theaters. I went to see them in Germany for that tour. Opeth is still my favourite band of all time. I don't care if everybody thinks they're shit now, because they gone soft. They still crank out awesome stuff in my opinion.

Also I wanna mention Camel: Never Let Go live in Enschede. It's audio only. I'm not sure if there's video of it. Seems like nobody knows about this band, but they're awesome musicians. I saw them live at their very last tour. Such a joy to see them perform.

I remember when DVDs were really taking off as a kid and when I saw the Mike Portnoy Liquid Drum Theater DVD coming out in the Modern Drummer mag I was so pumped! Took a few hours worth of public transport to get that and watched it sooo many times, blew my mind that whole package, was my prized DVD for the longest time. Awesome you got a kick out of it too! 😃🙌

I don't even think people really ''collect'' this stuff. It's more that there are a lot of fans of these bands that simply want to see this stuff, while there are limited copies of these DVDs
