I always wondered what Yuri's real goal was. What were his plans after the entire world was under his control? Conquer the entire galaxy or just stop war and unnatural death?

Anyone noticed that various versions of Drok (the main theme song of Yuri's Revenge) plays in some parts during the cutscene? Most notably when the Psychic Dominator is showcased, when Yuri speaks to Dugan, when Dugan starts speaking back towards him, and when Yuri activates the Psychic Dominator.

Yuri was a real threat. A shame Westwood didn't show him to his full and utmost potential. I really think he could've been the evil version of Einstein, maybe even much more intelligent.

I wonder, if Yuri had not partaken in that conversation would president Dugan have called in those air strikes less quickly? Resulting in Yuri simply taking control of the world right there?
