Just picked up my second Disco 5. They are incredible cars and everything I hated about my first Disco has been properly sorted, which shows LR listens to their customers. Even just little things like the dreadful amount of brake dust that quickly accumulated on the previous model's wheels. The new brakes don't emit anywhere near as much dust. The lag in the takeoff was previously terrible and that's been fixed. And the previous infotainment was a disaster. All fixed. I thought my old car was quiet but this one is next level. Love LandRovers

I have had a discovery 5 for 1 month now and it is an amazing car! I was considering the bmw x5 and audi q7, but I have decided to go with the discovery.it is worth every penny!

Yes 75, 000 is a lot of $$$ but with Lincoln aviator black label at 85, 000and Chevy Tahoe around 85, 000 vehicles are not cheap anymore especially suv s. Thanks for sharing I will probably lease discovery love the style and abilities.

Thanks for the review. What do you know about the maintenance and reliability issues with the vehicle. I have heard a lot of stories about the vehicle being a bit quirky and having electronic issues. Can you speak to that?Also, would you take this vehicle over it's competitors namely BMW, Audi etc

Is the 2022 disco worth it? I see a lot of negative reviews about them and I’ve been concerned about it. I really want one, but a lot of people saying don’t buy it.

Does LR still have a bad reputation for reliability? I think they are the best "looking" but is how is this Discovery engine on reliability?

great review. great car. number plate can be centralised, plenty of aftermarket kits that can do that. my main deal breaker is lack of Lane centering assist, so the ability to drive itself within a lane, not just in emergencies.

My wife bought one of these 5 months ago.... Except the center shifter.... Truly a reason to not buy the car... An invention that didn't need inventing.... Not intuitive a in any way and you have to be careful to don't take off on reverse when you meant to go forward... a class action lawsuit in the making... other than that a nice car

Overall a very nice vehicle though I'm not crazy about the offset license plate.

Is it me or does the front sort of look like the front of the Chrysler Pacifica? (Grill and lights)

I actually thing the offset license plate looks better than a central one.

It was a big mistake to remove the popular split tailgate from previous models and how could the designers get the rear of the vehicle so wrong? It must have significantly affected the sales figures. I loved the Disco 4, but wouldn’t consider the 5. Also, have Land Rover resolved the engine oil dilution issue with the diesel engines cars - DYOR before buying one.

This vehicle lost all its British appeal and charm when it was redesigned in 2017 and lost its boxy shape. It also lost its balls that year when LR dropped the V8.
