President Trump tweets support of FEMA's efforts during Hurricane Harvey

The president also tweeted out his plans to pardon controversial ex-sheriff Joe Arpaio.

This is about helping these people in TX, why people have to use profanity to prove a point. I have been a victim of Katrina and many people died and a historic flood one year ago from this month. We all pulled together to help each other and that is America.

How could anyone criticize this caring, loving, sympathetic, God-fearing president that we now have.    Thank you Mr. Trump.  I'm always thankful you're our president and know exactly what you're doing.    I'm sure the comfort level of all Americans  has gone up tremendously since you lumbered into office.  Really, though, we don't want you straining that good  brain of yours, so have you given any thought to resigning?    We don't want you to hurt yourself physically or mentally.    Just think about it and how wonderful it would be not to have to deal with all of the people who don't like you, and there are a lot of them.   You don't need that.  Just think about it,    please.

The media just have to say something negative about the President using this as a cover. What the hell does that mean. I wish he were in office when LA was flooded one year ago this month. Our people lost everything and I mean it. Our state is still recovering from Katrina. I pray for those in TX and hope they don't get the shaft like we did in Aug. of 2016. Trump has done more than our previous president has in his 8 years.
