Bringing Magical Moments to Millennial Farmer Fans:

Book The Millennial Farmer to Speak at your Next Event:

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Thanks for taking the time to share such a balanced and grounded perspective. It’s clear you’re not trying to push a political agenda—just offering honest insight from the front lines of farming, which is so valuable. I really appreciate how you acknowledge the complexity of the issue, the broader impact beyond your own operation, and still manage to stay hopeful without sugarcoating anything. Voices like yours help bridge the gap between polarized opinions and real-world nuance. Keep it up.

Hey, Zack. I've followed you since your first video in 2016. My kids have literally grown up watching you on YouTube and my youngest (3-year-old boy) demands "tractors" all the time. We look forward to your new video releases like you would a favorite TV show. Thank you for always being honest and transparent. I didn't grow up on a family farm, but I have close friends who did and I would love to do what you do for a living. As an Active-Duty Air Force member of 14 years, I've long desired to start my own farm and maybe one day after retiring from the military I will. I know we've never met, but I respect you and I appreciate your humble opinions on touchy subjects. Keep doing what you do and don't worry about the opinions of others. In a world that revolves around politics and social opinions, your true supporters will be here no matter what your political stance or social opinion is. God Bless, brother!

I am very worried about how this country is right now, and it's future. I am an honorably discharged Veteran and this is not the type of business that we emwere fighting for. I am 70 years old and not many years left in my life but have concerns about my kids who are about your age and my grand kids who are become adults. Yes so far things are not in effect, but the threat is real on all of us as things move ahead.

Pro tip, when your pushing snow and the ground is soft like it is, you can take a wrench and lower your side shoes on the blade that way it wont let the edge touch the gravel and it will give you a nice level finish.

Zach, Thanks for that! Some of us who are not farmers but appreciate and love all the farmers on this planet, worry about your health and viability. We appreciate your hard work and do value your honesty and opinions. We are all in this together and, like it or not, we sink or swim together. Negativity only serves to drag us all down. Keep on doing your thing and please give that Dog a ride in the tractor!

I think you’re right saying “cautiously optimistic”. Good on you for sharing all of this! You make plenty of people happy… dont worry about those who can’t be made happy.

I farm, but it’s only my part-time gig. Only a couple hundred acres. I wasn’t born into it, I had to crowbar my way into it. So as a “farmer”, I catch myself spinning in circles trying to justify the subsidies and welfare, there’s just no good way to do it. It’s hypocritical. We all have to admit it. We claim we voted to get spending under control, meanwhile, we tell ourselves every tax season that we “have” to spend money to avoid taxes. Then we turn around and tell people that we have to take government money to stay viable… and we say it from the seat of a pick-up that’s newer and nicer than what 70% of the population will ever be able to afford to own…. or while standing in front of a race car and hauler that 90% of people would never have the money for no matter how many hours they worked. And yes, I understand. Of course we work hard, but so does everybody else.

Zach, I'm English, living in UK. We have our own problems with our "government", who don't understand how farming works! The resulting chaos they are causing is simply down to their ignorance and their carrying out their political agenda regardless. So we know how you feel, just be like us and think they are only hear for 4 years, if we can survive for that long, we can change all they have screwed up and HOPEFULLY there are enough farmers left to reverse the whole situation! Thanks for your views, You are damned if you do, and damned if you don't, in your position as a voice of reason, in this whole mad social media world. Keep up the good work and hopefully you have a safe and productive year. From UK.

Ive watched your vidoes for quite some time now and i appreciate you, your family and what your doing with your farm. Ive got a small farm myself and i understand what all your saying with how the tariffs effect farms, its definitely going to be tough buying fertilizer for next year but all we can do is just pray and hope for the best. Thanks again for the awesome videos cant wait to see whats instore for this year on your farm!!!

I have been a businessperson for 30 years. One rule i have learned over the years is to not Burn bridges and don't fight with your Neighbors and friends. Those customers and good friends are hard to come by.

I'm always impressed by the amount of knowledge you have on maintaining your equipment. So much to know, and you seem to float seamlessly from one machine to the other tinkering about. Then when in the machines the operation. Much respect to you. As far as your opinion is concerned, if it's your channel and your opinion then people shouldn't really object. If they have a different one they too are free to start a channel and share theirs. All the best getting thru this crazy time! Greetings from up here in Canada where we have our own shitshow to deal with!
