How to hand build a plate in clay

This quick step-by-step video shows how to make a plate without a wheel. Simple and effective with patience and repetition, these plates can be made any size from side plate to dinner plate.

I've made this one plain but you can add any decoration you like, imprinting or carving pattern, slip decoration, underglaze picture painting or glaze decoration, the choice is yours 😊

Looks good but think i will stick to my wheel forms with gr pottery and sharon hoppe.
