At the 1+3=8, you could also move the lower right stick of the 3 to the lower left to make it a 2, and the lower left one of the 8 (making it a 9) to the top of the 1 (making it a 7). Would result in 7+2=9.

I haven't watched it yet but the front picture is not a math problem it's a construction problem just move the beams, I mean match stix over to close in the walls and you get an eight!! 🐱

You can also move the 2 sticks from the 1 to the 3 to make an 8 so it would be nothing/0 + 8 = 8
