trash talk and physicality of the game has been lost if you trash talk you get a tech or thrown out if your too physical its a flagrant, sucks when players aren't even getting touched or roughed up and still becoming injured.

When your life is all talk, you always think someone's talking about you. Always finding ways to over glorify yourself. Till life becomes a social interaction. Unable to differentiate yourself, just going with the flow whichever way the wind blows. It ain't hard to tell why some people open their mouth.

I don’t understand how/why ESPN go and add Tristan Thompson to their NBA crew. During his playing career, he made headlines more for what he did off the court than on it. So much for having good character people. And yes, his insights are about as good as those of Ryan Hollins, Shaq or even Jalen Rose (Mister stating the obvious)

The game has evolved from heavy defense, mind games, trash talking, hand checking, 200 total points tops to little defense, no checking no trash talking to 230 points n up per game. Hard to talk trash when launching threes. Plus the game these days load management bad enough trash talking might hurt players feelings and might have to sit more lol. Seriously seems like players these days are all friends off the court and no one wants to hamper another ones business. Days of Lattner foot stomp on chest long gone...
