I got Let Go... So I started my Own Business

It's been 2 weeks since I lost my Job, but the grind has finally begun. I started creating packages for companies and businesses when a past client of mine reached out to know if I would be willing to make content for them!

Although it didn't work out exactly how I had hoped, this is the first step in a really long journey and I'm very grateful to be here! I'll be vlogging the rest of the journey as I learn more about this business and how to make the most of this new career. Wish me luck, and follow along!

Love your work. You talking about "headspace" while showing your 40' tall ceilings was a great coincidence! 5:22

I got let go too back in Oct, started my own commercial video and photo business too. It’s hard and not easy but you got this man keep grinding and meeting ppl you want to do business with, networking is the key. You need a team of ppl that all do what you are doing.

In Life, especially in any kinda artistic fields, (basically this is show businesses) it really is who you blow not who you know. Thats why i said reach out to other content creator's, absorb everything you can from them, find a way to be able to offer your skills to increase their brand or views what ever, this goes for advertising also. And then thus you increase your "value" cuz at the end of the day what value you bring to the table determines your "worth" in this society. And there's a difference between branching out on your own and branching out on your own successfully. I've worked for myself many periods of my life so far, I've learned theres no shame in having to work for someone else out of necessity.
It usually starts as a side hustle, and grows until you can say goodbye to employee and go solo. But going solo means now you have to work with others even more now, and nobody's governing it either. No hr, no management, just you. And the unpredictability of others. Confidence in yourself is what will get you through bud. Respect 🙏

Try mingling with the big car content creators. The ones you can see yourself working with, not the goofball clout chasers.

If you go hard doing the content creation, and let that build your portfolio up. Get payed too from add revenue. Also what if you put up some of your photos up on some of those pay for download sites so people can use them for their adds, videos what ever. Because having exclusive material is good in a lot of circumstances over free for use.
