Viper was one of the few members of the Furious Five who actually treated Po decently when he came to the Jade Palace. And probably for the same reason that Mantis did, because she knows what it's like to be underestimated by everyone.

Master Viper really a main character of her own life story. Despite initial setbacks caused by natural causes at birth, her family still accepted her and embraced her pursuit of expression in dancing. Her father didn't go down the route of rejection and absence that some mentor figures portrayed in the Kung Fu Panda universe. I think it's also due to that family support why Viper has a certain self-assurance in the way she conducts and develops her Kung Fu techniques. She freely incorporates her dancing experience to create a range of attacks which makes her techniques stand out despite being unconventional to the old-fashioned beliefs of "strength" within Kung Fu.

Viper needs more screen time. If they did a Tigress solo movie, they could have Tigress and viper moments. For example Viper, being a supportive sister to Tigress about finding about her past.

YESSSS MY GIRL. Viper is my favorite character in the KFP franchise. Her personality always resonated with me. She’s so pretty and such an amazing fighter. Her fighting style is so satisfying to watch and was interesting seeing a snake fight.

She honestly deserved more screentime on the franchise. She hardly got solo scenes like the rest of the five did. The tv show kinda did her some justice and had an episode dedicated to her.

Also another thing. Viper isn’t venomous due to her being born without fangs. So she’s not poisonous.

Most characters in the trilogy represent what type of animal they are. Po is a panda so he’s comedic and likeable. Oogway is a tortoise so he’s displayed as wise and patient. Tai Lung is a snow leopard so he represents speed and fear. Tigress is a tiger so she’s shown to be powerful and fearsome. Crane is a bird so he’s often Non-confrontational and sometimes second guesses himself.

Viper on the other hand is a snake but instead of representing what a snake is (example being cold and mean) she’s quite kind and supportive. Just one of many more reasons why the trilogy is so good at subverting your expectations.
