2019 Acura NSX Test Drive Review: The Future Is Here, Deal With It

Having first hit the market in 2017, the second-gen #Acura #NSX has been updated for 2019 with new colors, tires, minor tuning changes, and standard features. While it still features lackluster infotainment and a less-than-steller exhaust note, the NSX still has the most unique powertrain in the segment.

The 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 pairs with three electric motors to produce 573 horsepower and 476 lb-ft of torque going out to SH-AWD through a nine-speed dual-clutch automatic. 0-60 mph takes just 3.0 seconds and the top speed is a whopping 191 mph. No car in this segment handles quite like the NSX thanks to its front-mounted electric motors and few mid-engine supercars can match the NSX's level of comfort. It truly feels like a supercar you could drive every day.

Future classic. It is stunning in every way, engineering, looks, performance, build, reliability and comfort. This is one of the cars that people who own it just love it. The press, well, if its not German, Italian or a Mac it does not get a look in. I know what I would have all day long, a NSX please.

When the first gen NSX came out it was ahead of it time. It was 10 years ahead of any American car. This NSX is also ahead of most car. I'm saving my money to get one

I truly love this car with all the hybrid power, its a competitor to P1 and La Ferrari at a fraction of a price. Having that said, Honda should really consider making a non-hybrid model of this car, a true mid engine, real wheel drive.

You want more quiet mode? Bigger batteries more weight and even less feeling of the road and motor than the hybrid technology already in it...I think that would be a mistake and might kill the car off. Just my opinion seeing as I own one. The only part of the hybrid tech that I like is the direct drive motors that will save so much wear and tear on your drive train and the increased safety and handling in corners and braking capabilities that are surpassed by no one in its class.
