Hey Guys!!
This is Zainali and I am back with a new tutorial in which we would be solving a problem using D' Alembert's principle.

PROBLEM STATEMENT: Calculate the tension in the strings and accelerations of the two masses of 18 Kg and 6 Kg connected as shown in the figure. Neglect pulley weight, string weight and pulley friction.

Conventionally 1st equation is 2T - 1200

But 400/9.81 aB should be equal to 40.77aB. then "aB=2aA" then it'll get "aB" as "81.54aA" then you did the correction as aA... Its just... Not clear to me i didnt understood that step can you please explain.... I guess you solved the equations simultaneously right?
