SUPERBOOTH 2024: Austrian Audio - OC818 Studio Condenser Microphone

At Superbooth 2024, *Kurt* from *Austrian Audio* showcased their latest products to the Sonic State team, including the *OC818* flagship microphone. This professional true large condenser microphone features a unique ceramic capsule handmade in Vienna. The *OC818* has switchable polar patterns, but what sets it apart is the ability to record the back side of the capsule via a breakout cable. This allows for post-production manipulation of polar patterns frequency-dependently, offering a new level of versatility in recording.

In addition to the OC818, Austrian Audio also presented the *MiCreator Studio* a portable studio solution aimed at content creators and musicians.
