I wonder what the guy is thinking after hearing that and hearing about Isaiah 53 honestly it's 2024 there is no body forcing you just read and analyze for your self. Glory be to the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit one God Amen

I don't want to listen to a Jew when talking about the Messiah as described and prophesied written in Isaiah 53 which is referring to Messiah as a person not a group.

There’s no real EXPIATION in rabbinic judaism, because there’s no blood sacrifice since 70 BC. If you can understand this you can realise lot of things.

It's the 4th servent song in Isaiah. It speaks of ISRAEL 🇮🇱 you also spoke a mistranslation it does not say " he was wounded for or transgressions" it should be rendered " he was wounded (because) of our transgressions"

Alot of people hating Ben when Ben let the guy talk without interrupting him even though bens stance on 53 is polar opposite

I like listening to this guy, Ben just annoys me, his high pitch and speed of talking grinds my gears.

Isaiah 53 is not about Jesus, nor it's about Israel. Both rabbinical and christian interpretations are wrong. It's about the tribe of Levite personified in their forefather Levi as a righteous servant of the Lord. "He had no beauty no majesty", that's not about Jesus it's about the tribe of Levites coming out of the desert like a dry shoot, nothing special about them, and yet Lord chose them to the be priesthood also a sacrifice for Israel. That's why it says that he should see his offspring, in other words the tribe of Levites will be back again to their glory. In numbers we see the tribe of levites were chosen to be a sacrifice for every first born of Israel .Of course it wasn't a human sacrifice, but the Lord would bring judgment on them when Israel backslided. Also Levites were persecuted by their people after their turned to foreign gods. That's why it says he was despised and rejected, because the tribe of Levites were pushed out by Jeroboam from the rest of the tribes when Israel was devided. And they became despised and hated, because they didn't even receive inheritance, so they became wanderers, rejected. But they didn't understand that this was God's way of sacrificing Levites fo the sake of Israel. That's why it says " Yet who of his generation protested?". In other words nobody from Levites protested they accepted their fate
