India's first EMD homing shed: Mughalsarai (MGS)'s dual cab WDG4D #70419 locomotive visits Punjab

Dual-cab EMD freight locomotive WDG4 #70419 of Mughalsarai (MGS) DLS, ECR hauling a BCNA Rake, captured at Chiheru near Phagwara Jn, Punjab.
Mughalsarai (MGS) DLS is the first diesel loco shed of Indian Railways to home EMD locomotives, those locomotives were WDM4 locomotives. The WDM4 is the first EMD locomotive class to work for Indian Railways, they were used to haul the prestigious Howrah - New Delhi Rajdhani Express trains. Later those WDM4 locomotives were retired from service and as a result MGS became an ALCo loco shed, but this year (2016) once again induction of WDG4 and WDG4D locomotives to MGS has included it in the list of EMD homing sheds of Indian Railways.
