I've used one for about 4 yrs and really like it. I've attached a couple of smaller knives to it for smaller jobs. I really like that tan color. Mine is all black but didn't have a choice cause it was on sale for 20 bucks and couldn't pass that up. It's my go to knife.

It's a recurve bowie style knife. You can heat up the sheath with a heat gun or oven. Put it in between towels and put weight on it while knife is in it. It'll conform to the knife better and remove the rattle. I have one exactly like yours being delivered from Amazon tomorrow. I paid $45 before shipping. Yes you can remove the handle by removing the two screws. Loctite them back. If the handle is rough on the palm of your hand put some Wilson wrap on the handle. Thank you for the video. It was nice watching it.

Own one used it to help clear a trail to my deer blind works as it should and stayed decently sharp and I did a good bit of chopping with it

I bought one in gray awhile back. I've only used it for some very light duty stuff so far, but the balance and size are very nice. I also have a Camp 14 that I used to help take down a dead Maple tree a couple of years ago. The Camp 14 is kind of a beast, and a bit unwieldy, while the Camp 10 is much easier to control. However, I wish Kershaw's Camp 12 was more of a recurve Kukri style design vs. the parang style. I think a 12" Camp knife would be the just right size for many uses.
PS: I like the FDE color of the Camp 10, but when I bought mine, the gray color was consistently cheaper. I just didn't feel the need to spend extra cash just to get it in FDE.

Would you recommend any kind of sharpener? Stone etc? :) great video!! Thank you from a wildland firefighter. This would be great to make steaks for a tent. Camp.
