Imagine that the iPad eventually gets the same operative system the MacBook has because of the M4 chip. I have that feeling since the M1 release and apple including those chips in computers and tablets. If the iPhone gets one of those chips it would awesome.

They literally market the iPad Pro's to artists / musicians, not sure why folks not doing those things expect it to be a MacBook

They're both not in thesame category. If you want to view content like social media and stuff then go for iPad Pro and it has an OLED screen.

If anything else then go Macbook.

I currently have an M1 2020 Macbook Pro and I'll only upgrade to a 16-inch Macbook Pro that has an OLED screen hopefully M4 or M5.

It’s a simple answer, one is Mac OS and the is iPad OS two differentttt systems. If you can do better with a MacBook do a MacBook and let iPad compliment the MacBook

We should choose 16GB of RAM and wait for iPad OS to update to Mac OS.
