More care info here ⬇️ :Plants used: •Sarracenia Leah Wilkerson Pitcher Plant•2 pinguculas•drosera•honorable mention (nepenthes that I didn’t use)All these have been in my collection close to a year now and they all lived in a tray filled with distilled water at all times. Having them together makes it much easier to care for. Carnivorous plants need a nutrient free soil, any added nutrients will kill them. Distilled water, rain water, or reverse osmosis water is required for them because it is low in minerals. Minerals in tap water can kill them as well. Also, they will need plenty of sunlight or an added growlight! Any other questions, leave them down below!

I started my carnivorous plant journey because a friend gifted me a fly trap from Trader Joes. I was terrified. I now have 12 from that 1 pot. I have bought 2 kinds of pitcher plants. My neighbor gave me her fly trap to rehab, and it's doing amazing. The same neighbor gave me a sundew that I just got 24 out of that pot! I have now become a carnivorous plant farm by accident.

Your dog was very helpful in watching you water the plants. ❤

i personally wouldnt keep a nepenthes in the same bog bowl as the rest of te carnivorous plants just because their the only carnivorous plant in that collection that isnt native to the type of bogs the others are, but otherwise its a super cute idea! i have all of mine besides the nepenthes (which stay inside) in a big tub of water outside all summer and they love it, might be something fun to try!

How many and which nepenthes do you own? Also I’m so glad you didn’t use the nepenthes. They generally hate being super wet since they are not big plants. The bowl looks great though!!!

Awesome idea, however some of these plants require dormancy and some do not… that will cause problems at some point… if you would like to make a long term bog rather use just temperates… and certainly not a Nepenthes in a bog

Wow! All your carnivorous plants looks so happy! I’m especially impressed with the Nepenthes. I love your passion for giving them the best life even if you sometimes find them icky.

I would love to see a long video of all your carnivorous plants❤ They have become a new addition to my small collection. I love watching your videos.
How old is your pup going to be next week?🤗
I will say you are doing awesome! I felt like your last video wasn't long enough by the time it was over😊
Plants have definitely become the best/healthy copping method dealing with life; I don't feel alone.

One thing to know about using perlite is to make sure the perlite does "not" contain any fertilizer or additives because it will also kill carnivorous plants. No Miracle Grow perlite because it contains fertilizer.
Also, the Sarracenia carnivorous plants need full sun and a dormant winter phase from October to February. 🌱

Thats so funny, when im out in the garden planting things i'll grab a handful of dirt and take a deep sniff. I love the smell of soil, my neighbors probably think i am weird. I love your channel!
