Selsun Blue is used for people that have a dermatitis not for people who have regular hair. It is heavily medicated and will damage your hair if you don’t have extreme dandruff
Edit: I am also one with a severe dermatitis called seborrheic dermatitis that affects my scalp. Selsun blue is made for your scalp if you have extreme dandruff. I recommend you get checked out by your dermatologist if your experiencing extreme dandruff
