Honest tour of a builder grade model home (with upgrades you may not want!).

Let's go on a detailed tour of a basic builder grade model home! I give my opinions on the upgrades the builder offers and a small preview of how I will customize the space. This particular model I'm going to show you is the floor plan my husband and I chose for our home currently being built!

I had a interior designer tell me my microwave over the stove, is not a luxury kitchen. Yes it's very functional, however my microwave handles have melted from the heat if my stove twice! I think its a personal preference. I prefer the look of a hood over my stove. I just think it's gives a much grander look to the kitchen. I also like my microwave either attached to another cabinet not above my stove, or in a built in microwave drawer.

I think the window is attractive and the natural light is great! But..., I believe the window would be full of grease, and Im not sure if the window would support alot of heat coming from the stove, electric or gas. JMO

Why Colorado to move to? We have relatives in Denver but I can't handle the altitude.
