Not sure why everyone hates on this so much, if you don't like collectible card games just don't buy it and stick to LCG. I am an avid M:TG player and I for one like the collectible aspect of card games. Really looking forward to playing Destiny!

Very disappointed about this announcement for two reasons:

1) FFG going back to randomizing product purchases and

2) the starters not even containing a full deck (only 24 cards in a starter with a deck size of 30)

This announcement makes me sad. I thought that FFG turned their backs on randomizing purchases to be more consumer friendly.

Why the hate? I only play LCGs but this looks really cool. Love the theme, weight and price. Seems like hearthstone level of depth which should appeal to a huge amount of people especially with the star wars theme. Could be a great product for ffg which helps them to make non ccg products for the haters. Would be very happy to get some boosters in my stocking.

I'm sensing that some gamers are forgetting the diversity of card gaming. Pre assorted games without random packs or new expansions tend to really have a strong dry spell pretty quickly

Besides, FFG is getting enough of my money with Mansions of Madness 2 and Doom. :)

I'll refrain from judgement until I see it in action, but I feel like this would have been better as a partnership with WizKids to make it compatible with Dice Masters.
