You’re a brave man for doing that in the grass and not on a driveway or something. I would have lost every single nut and bolt. I ordered a bagger for my 42 inch about 2 months ago and the dealer still has no clue when it will come in. I was hoping to have it by fall for leaf clean up. Have you ever used their mulching system? I was thinking about just mulching the leaves instead of bagging them but I worry all of that debris maybe too much for the lawn to handle.

I could be wrong but im pretty sure the bagging should only be done on 3" or less of growth. We cut at 3.25" if the grass is over 7" we just get the rakes out or just cut it multiple times and leave it.

What do you expect when you vacuum a hay field ? I have a Z 122 with a mulch kit and I'm very impressed how well it works.

This is the biggest was of money when o got mine i thought for the price it would have bigger bags and a fan to help with clogging.

It's meant to bag fresh cut grass not bale clumps of 5 inch long cut grass laying on the ground

Did you install the blades that came with the bagger or just leave the ones that were on the mower on the mower?
My bagging unit came with 2 blades so I'm assuming they are the bagging blades
