Well over 1000 anime under my belt. From the One Piece of the world to the Detective Conan the Fruits Basket to the Sakurada Reset and the Steins;Gates inbetween I have seen so many different amazing anime but I have to say this by far is still my absolute favorite anime. Sawako was such a good girl and she never got down in the dumps or beat herself up for everyone around her treating her different because of how she looked. She was always kind and beautiful and such an amazing person. I will forever love this show and it wasn't first romance anime but it definitely helped me fall in love with the genre and it shaped the man I have become today.

In my opinion, the main arc got bogged down with the second season. It didn't make alot of sense that she'd relapse back into her old ways after everything she learned from the first. I really liked the arc of Toru, Chizuru, and Ryu in the first season that was beautifully done.
