Patrol Helicopter Guide | Rust Tutorial

This video covers the Patrol Helicopter / Attach Helicopter event, so you can successfully plan, predict, evade, or fight it. I will cover its behaviour, tower design, supplies needed, expected loot, and fighting techniques. The patrol helicopter event spawns every 2-4 hours and begins to head to the closest monument to start roaming. Make sure you don't have more than 2 pieces of clothing on or a ranged weapon on your Hotbar, otherwise it will start shooting.

Thanks so much for this incredibly informational guide. I did not know the patrol heli had three separate hp types, and that all I had to do was hit both rotors to make life easier. I was also surprised why the heli started flying away when I hid in a lower floor whenever it fired its rockets, it appears it was because I was out of its line of sight. With this, I think I can finally solo it now XD

The attack heli is far more accurate than i see in the video, even i have almost the same base design execept the roof, he still hit almost the 70% of his shots and does insane damage-

Great content as always! Been playing for a while but I didn't actually know how much health the rotors have. I play on a server that shows a damage report for the patrol helis and could never figure out how some people (known to have top-tier aim skills) took em down in less than 2k total damage!
