GHD Duet Style vs Dyson Airstrait Straightener

Both hair tools use air and heat to take your hair from wet/damp to dry and styled. There are some key differences between each hair styling tool. Ghd duet style uses airflow plus heated plates to achieve smooth, sleek and straight results. While, Dyson Airstrait straightener only uses powerful directional airflow. No plates on Dyson Airstrait resulting with less heat on your hair. Ghd duet style is quieter, $100 less and does provide the extra heat if your hair needs it. Airstrait seems to do a better job of drying it. Your hair looks good with the ghd but I've seen a lot of videos where the ghd did not do a good job.

The GHD plates don't heat when you use it in blow dry mode, but I love that you can use it as a straightener after for more sleekness!

Right side is my left, so it looks fuller with ghd, shinier, and looks fluffier.

I have the Dyson Airstraight and it just takes too long to dry my hair. It doesn't tame my waves enough either.

Both looked great to me, being a cosmetologist I wouldn't recommend flat ironing hair wet at all, it's a damaging process especially with bleached & dyed hair . 🤔❤️

i personally feel with the GHD the temperature not high enough for curly and thick hair !! Also the Dyson is ok but can make the hair very flat to the scalp and not necessarily 100% straight hair for thick/curly hair. i had to use hair straighners / hot plate after

How quickly did your hair get frizzy wonky, weird with the airstraight, it's $700.00 in Canada hence the question. I have very similar texture to yours so I really don't want to buy before thourally researching
