***MODEL RAILWAY EXHIBITION***
When:

***KRAKÓW NATIVITY SCENE COMPETITION***
History: The first competition for the most beautiful Kraków nativity scene was held on December 21, 1937, initiated by Dr. Jerzy Dobrzycki. The outbreak of WWII halted the competition for six years, but it resumed in 1945. Since 1946, the Historical Museum of Kraków has been its organizer, with the museum’s director leading the judging panel.

This Year's Competition:
On December 5, participants will display their works on the steps of the Adam Mickiewicz Monument in the Main Square, where they can be admired from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Following the Kraków Trumpet Call at 12:00 PM, a procession of nativity scenes, led by a folk band from Bronowice, will circle the Main Square.
Participants will then bring their works to the Krzysztofory Palace for evaluation by a jury of historians, ethnographers, art historians, architects, and artists.
Winners will be announced on December 8, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Copper Hall of the Krzysztofory Palace.

***CARP FOR KRAKÓW***
Free tastings of fried carp and vegetarian cabbage with peas will begin at 4:00 PM in six locations across Kraków:

👉December 9: Parking area near the Kurdwanów bus terminal

***PODGÓRZE MARKET SQUARE - FAIR OF UNIQUE THINGS***
The Fair of Unique Things will take place over the weekend of November 30 – December 1, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

December 1: Santa Claus will make an appearance from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM to distribute gifts.

***LAJKBIKE - CITY BIKE RENTAL***
Until November 30: Deadline to request an extension of current rental agreements.
From December 1 through the end of the year: The "Rent Again" option will temporarily disappear from the system, and no extensions will be processed during December.
To extend a rental agreement, Public Transport Authority (ZTP) has lifted the 14-day limit before expiration, so extensions can be requested now. Log in to your account and submit a request.

Upcoming Changes Starting January 2025:
The extension process will be streamlined and the rental period extended.
Rental prices are set to increase:
From 29 PLN to 33 PLN for standard bikes.
From 79 PLN to 89 PLN for electric bikes with a 900 km/month limit.
The final pricing changes will be decided by the City Council in their next session.
