That is what we hear every single year. It ends up being a scam. And I am an apple addict (every device I owe is from Apple, from the phone to the laptop to the tablet, the watch, the speakers, the trackers… I am fully in the ecosystem).

14pro here. I don’t feel the need to upgrade as it does everything I need to do very well. Battery has downgraded but I can replace if it gets worse. Unless it has some unexpected advantages I’ll skip the 17

If I can’t have a user replaceable battery, the only feature that will make me want to upgrade is a screen with no notch/pin hole/island. Give me a screen that is uninterrupted. I don’t care about a front facing camera, but if there has to be one then it can be hidden.

I can tell one thing for sure, it won't be called as iPhone 17 Ultra since the "ultra" name has been taken by Samsung. Apple always differentiate their products.

As a long time Apple iPhone owner (since the 3G), iPad owner (from 2nd gen to 4 gen IPad Pro to 6gen Apple IPad Air) and a 4th gen MacBook Pro, I currently have the 14Pro and am waiting to see what will be released for the 17 models. My 14Pro iPhone is my first Pro model and I love it. I remember when I updated every year when the phones were still affordable, all the way through the iPhone 7. Then I started skipping (8, 11, 13, and 15). I’m ready for a new phone, maybe. I’m thinking about it.
