I used to live in Harlow - which has a good network of small buses which service each "sector" of town to the central bus depot. There's then the express bus from Stansted to Heathrow, which stops at Harlow and Hertford - the problem with this bus is that it calls at many stops in and around Harlow (rather than relying on the small shuttle buses to feed). I rode it once - took 1hr each way, with a 30min max wait time - I could drive one way in 15mins, and didn't have to wait, not to mention the price of a return ticket vs using a 45mpg car!

Nice to see C:S folks are as impatient as I am :)

I will use public transport when it's practical and less costly than private transport.
