On the other hand, if you stopped eating donuts, you might also increase your happiness. Doh! That must mean happiness is a multi-variable function, and to relate it to donuts only is not realistic. The same could be said of students who don't take up the challenge to extend themselves into calculus. They may find other pursuits that increase their happiness.

However, your example at the beginning of the video showing that the multiplier effect of increasing x by a margin of 0.01 relates directly to the second derivative value - is good.
