Suey choy = napa cabbage! That gem of info made it totally worthwhile for me to watch. I always call it suey choy but have seen "napa cabbage" listed in the grocery stores. Now I know it's the same

Interesting. I've never seen Savoy cabbage used when making kimchi, I've always seen napa cabbage used for it in factories. I like to use savoy for stuffed cabbage rolls cause the leaves I find sweeter and more tender =) Thanks for sharing!

I'm wondering for the best way to store common cabbage... in the crisper or on the fridge shelf? wrapped, bagged or no plastic? what about storing a half cabbage that is leftover?

What are those tiny black spots you see on the cabbage sometimes, and do they mean the cabbage is bad? I see them most often on napa cabbage

Erm.... I love your show, but originally, kimchi is made from napa cabbages. I know this because I'm korean... Form korea, and still live in Korea :)
