Following a thorough evaluation of the B-14 and S-33, the countdown to Flight 7 continues. While NASA has indicated January 11 as a tentative launch date, SpaceX has yet to confirm. However, the FAA recently released a comprehensive advisory document that sets January 10 as the primary launch date for Flight 7, with a launch window extended from 4:00 p.m. to 5:37 p.m. Central Time. A backup window was scheduled to begin on January 11 and end on January 16. Given the information available, this timeline suggests that the launch could potentially occur before NASA’s official announcement, likely in the afternoon, to facilitate observations of the Starship landing. Notably, the FAA announcement appears to have been removed, leaving us to await further clarification. At this time, it appears that both phases of Flight 7, likely B-14 and S-33, have successfully completed their checks and installation. Transportation to the launch pad for integration testing could begin soon. Ramp closures have been scheduled for December 30 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., or December 31 from midnight to 3 a.m. Central Time, indicating that SpaceX is strategically positioned to start 2025 with substantial momentum.
