The Ford F350 has it’s good and bad points. I’d say the good out weigh the bad!

The 2023 Ford F350 Lariat Ultimate Sport seals the deal for me over the GMC 2500 or 3500 with those two power plugs in the rear compartment!

I just spoke with a Ford master tech yesterday because I was considering trading in my 22 Silverado 2500 and his statement was please don’t. The new HD is a rolling check engine light, and the new setup is having a lot of issues.

Great videos ! On the Ford Website, the "Lariat Ultimate Package comes with Power Running Boards and Upfitter Switches. Didn't see any of those on this truck. Are you sure they just didn't spec it out as close as they could to the Lariat Ultimate Package ?

It took me awhile but the look has grown on me and I love this truck. Had a 2016 and had no complaints except that wobbling shit they wouldn’t admit to

I own a 2020 f350 lariat crew cab long bed. I wouldn’t go with the short bed. That 48gal tank I have helps a lot. Plus my payload is over 4300#. I’ve had 4050lbs in the back and it was barely on the overloads. I still had decent suspension travel too. The powerstroke still didn’t kick down on the 10 speed with that much weight and fuel mileage went to 18mpg compared to my normal 20 mpg. I have my truck still fully legal too. Dpf and egr still intact. I drive the speed limit of 65 mph all the time too though. I outgrew the speed demon and drive like normal. I run in normal mode except when I haul and I use tow haul. Never have tried eco mode or any of the other modes. I love ford trucks though. Been driving fords since 2000. I have had 3 different trucks since then. All fords and I drive about 50 to 60k miles a year. The only thing I have added to my truck is the S&S disaster prevention kit. Strong motor and transmission also.

Nice video! The 23 Ford's are sharp!

Since you had it wide open how good does the A/C work? Seriously it’s little things like that you could let us know about. Like your headlight reviews, nobody test drives at night so you let us know how good they are.

So Ford still going with the CP4 on the 2023-24?

Nice video. That’s a nice truck and all things considered not crazy on price although that’s still going to be 2-3k more than a fully loaded LTZ.

Anyways, as a Chevy guy I can say Ford is definitely winning on power outlets. No contest either. They offer the 12 volt outlets still for one and the 20 amp 120 Volt outlet is fantastic. I would definitely select that option.

But that’s about the extent of it. The GM bed steps and bumper steps are better. And I feel like the gauge cluster on the Ford is just plain looking. Maybe there’s different settings for it.

Someone help me out, I cannot get a straight answer from my dealer, can a kit be bought to add on the Pro Power to a '23 F-350 Lariat Ultimate with 6.7 SD? It has the cover plate in place of where it would install in the bed but I assume something would need to be added in the computer as well, and probably some other components??? Part Numbers??

Not bad but it could be better in my opinion make it a long bed and body color paint the grill or something. It just looks like an XL to me. with those gears and no locker it makes me think this was ordered with a specific purpose to never go off pavement or tow anything heavy. My driveway is steep and gravel, if you don’t have some sort of locking rear end or use four-wheel-drive it is impossible to pull up anything more than three or 4000 pounds.

Thanks for content. One question:

16:11 When you lock the rear, how fast can you drive in snow? Isnt that only for really slow speeds? Wont 4x4 in snow enable a little faster driving than locking it out in 2wd?

1- Why still have the air dam under the front bumper when others don't? Can't they redesign to look better or work wo?
2- I never use my tailgate step. It's a pain to open with the square button. Jump or use a bucket.
3- Glad they went back to the debossed "SUPER DUTY" stamp (instead of embossed) on the tailgate and hood so we can put out stickers back in there.
4- HUD, HD dash screen, side steps, better towing are reasons I'll upgrade my '17 with only 60k.
5- Trailer backup cam view still stinks
6-Sliding tray in console will slip when braking, accelerating. Go back to sideways.

When the standard diesel already makes more than enough power, and the price is in the clouds, then there just isn't much incentive to pay an additional $2, 500 for more-more than enough power. My 0.02.

3.31 ratio is basically an 8 speed transmission when towing.

Fords trim levels are kinda useless considering you can spec out a XLT to look just like a lariat or a lariat to look just like a platinum I think it takes away from the feeling you get driving around your fully loaded truck because a XLT could pull up right next to you and it be very similar to yours.
