Khairy will not appeal against expulsion, says no point

Khairy Jamaluddin will not be appealing against his expulsion from Umno because he saw no point in doing so.

"Appealing means appealing against the same entity that has unilaterally and summarily executed me from the party so there is no point," he told BFM this morning.

Khairy said he conferred with Noh Omar and Shahril Hamdan - who were also expelled and suspended by the party leadership respectively - before coming to this decision.

KJ made the mistake of an amateur politician. Why does he have to announce that he wants to run for president of UMNO? He should just prepare it quietly and when the time comes Zahid will learn of it. There's no need to give Zahid the heads-up. When you do that, this is what happens. Zahid just wants to complete his final journey in politics as a DPM and he will not allow anyone to ruin this plan. I thought this was rather obvious.
