Felipe Nunes (Double Amputee) Conquers the Infamous Loop

Birdhouse's newest team member Felipe Nunes dream to complete a full loop on a skateboard become reality. While attempting the loop last year, Felipe struggled for speed but he was not deterred. He vowed to come back and try again. With a taller roll-in, Felipe successfully navigated the track and becomes the first adaptive skater to complete the loop.

It's really cool seeing Tony take the role of a teacher here. It reminds me of him explaining how to complete a goal in the later THPS games. "Alright kid! Most skaters don't make the loop but as long as you stick to it and keep left, I think you'll be fine!" I could imagine it being a mission right now.

this is so freaking cool. not just Felipe not letting anything get in his way. you could tell by like 3rd go he understood the obstacle, the approach and speed and everything. it's also on Birdman to be like "i don't care about anything that physically makes you different from me. if you can do it but need some help, i'll find a way to make it happen" and here we are, throwing on a bigger roll in so Felipe can do the loop slicker than some of the other makes.
