What people don't understand about Joe is that he never wanted celebrity or fame, it just happened because he wanted to be great at comedy and needed to pay the bills. I'm sure thats how a lot of greats in their industries are (LeBron, Taylor Swift, etc) but Joe doesn't work for anyone and isn't forced to for his company's image.
