Maybe because the one thing the British population would have liked to have changed politically, more than anything else, in the last 50 years has been a reduction and reversal of mass immigration. Since that has never happened despite it being the greatest desire among the people it's no wonder many are apathetical. Alastair Campbell is more responsible than most for this betrayal, Alistair you need to take that responsibility for the apathy.

Labour is doing nothing, though I live in a seat that might be winnable.

It's not apathy, it's disgust

We need to get out and vote, or the conservatives could still be in power .Labour will not have a huge majority. It's not true that this is not a done deal predicted to be a low turnout vote Labour.
