Northern lights (beautiful ones) are challenging to do with acrylic paint. I see so many creators try but they dry brush and you can see the teeth of the canvas. But you have mastered this. Ensuring paint is wet enough to blur it, was beautifully done. Much ❤

Don't let the title fool you. This painting is not for beginners. If you dont have an experience with acrylics then you'll end up with a total mess. I tried it with my friends.

Do you let the background dry a bit before adding the white and brushing up? All the paint brushes up for me and I don't get the nice white streaks like yours

I have minor experience because I was always so nervous about doing my canvas art. I bought a bunch of them from the smallest to large. But I have different paints. I don’t have acrylic ones. I was gifted an art box with pastels colored pencils and paints inside. I dabbed a little with the paints and pastels but I mostly used my map colors

I am a novice painter and my question is how long does the top colors need to dry to put the white and blend it up? When i did, it all blurred so im wondering if the base was too wet?

I loved it! I tried it but it didn’t quite work with the Aurora. It mixed up with the other colors and I couldn’t see it in the end, do you have any advice on how to do it correctly? Thanks ❤
