God forbid we have another self sustaining person in this country, sad to see people get so upset.

And in so many years her property will be flourishing with birds and butterflies and flowers and all sorts of crawly things. Its beautiful to see what happens when you give to the soil. Life comes quickly.

"Urban planning" means everything concrete and uniform, stepford neighbourhood with artificial everything. She's literally saving the earth, making her life healthy and likely the neighbourhood healthy, but of course no one can handle that!

The government will let us drink bad water, live on contaminated land. Let bad people break the law.
But they go after a pile of pumpkins !!! Let's let the bad people keep getting away with it. But don't let those evil pumpkins set there looking pretty. 😂😂😂

It's so funny because the people in the heights act like they enjoy organic, eclectic living. But when they really have one of those types in their neighborhood - they freak out 😊

We tried composting with pumpkins, the next growing season we had pumpkin vines growing everywhere. We even had vines climbing up a tree and it had a pumpkin growing on the vine. It was a cool experience which I would never do again

This is why people want to get rid of HOAs… its her property, clearly its not an issue to any other property within the vicinity, so why make a matter of it?
Is it odd? Yes. But are we not the land of the free?

This is ridiculous. Composting is so wonderful. I do the same, whenever I get the chance. Composted about eight pumpkins this year. Saved some that I knew weren’t cleaned with bleach for the wildlife, roasted seeds, saved seeds for planting, and gave some seeds to the wildlife too.

lord, they're calling simple pumpkins a "biohazard" 😅 these people need to find something to do! 😂

If this is a biohazard, every giant tub of pumpkins at a grocery store is a biohazard.

My next house won't be close enough to my neighbors to be concerned about what nonsense they're doing in their yard.

As a gardener, who does compost - I know that the rotting pumpkins will attract mice and other critters.

The best thing to do is have a contained (with secure lid) composting units. One can open the lid to air it out, gently turn the soil, and add to it - in a clean secure way.

The composting units can add visual appeal as well, depending on its structure and material
