Mario Kart 64 nailed it on the fun factor! I remember when someone had a tie score they would have to settle it in battle mode! Then we'd have to watch them, soon we figured out it was more fun to end on a tie, so we didn't have to sit out & watch the battle mode! Which made coming in 1st wasn't always the best, but having a tie for 1st now that was an Epic Battle Mode!

*Mario Kart 64* endures because of its simplicity and because of its charm. Everything about it screams quality.

I’m not much of a Nintendo 64 fan. I’ve always maintained that the system only has about 10-15 “must own” titles, and I stand by that sentiment. However, *Mario Kart 64* is at the top of that list. This game makes the N64 worth owning alone!

5:25 Oh man, me, my friends and their brothers would have huge battle mode tournaments at Block Fort specifically. Friday nights, pizza, ah the life. Because of this I will say MK64 although Double Dash is a close 2nd.

Super Mario Kart is easily my favorite. What a good game! Like you said it is quote technical which makes it so you have to learn it. However, it's not so hard it's unattainable which I really appreciate. Nobody wants to actually try to get a feel for it so I just play solo like everything else I play lol

Most memories is with MK64, by a mile. I just wish you could turn those damn bombs off in four player mode lol

Ahhhh Mario Kart, that game has ended more friendships than politics. The last Mario Kart I played was 64. Never been a Kart racer guy.
