Absolutely disgusting. How on earth anyone could actively, consciously bring about suffering in such a cruel, immoral way is appalling. Is this actually fun for them??? No shred of remorse or guilt or empathy? If it's inhumane and wicked to treat a human in such a way, then it is also inhumane and wicked to treat an animal this way.
And sport hunting? Pathetic. Genuinely pathetic.

Trust me, other equestrians are against this. My barn does hunts without hunting, we take dogs and horses to trails, no killing, no foxes, no other animals, it’s for fun to get the dogs and horses energy out, the dogs that come with us are barn members herding dogs that aren’t used for herding. The herding dogs like to herd the horses and it’s fun to them so we let them do it on trails, we don’t hit or abuse these dogs, they’re family pets that have an instinct to herd the horses they were raised next to. But this? This is disgusting, I don’t understand why people think it’s okay to kill these animals. Foxes are so gentle and kind when then have a chance to.

I see this video is four years old. Has anything changed, or do the police simply ignore the whole issue, which appears to be the case?

It is very difficult to enforce a law if the most influential people are at best indifferent about it.

These “hunters” are just another reason why people want to “eat the rich” now. They think because they have money or land that they are above everyone else, including the law. They don’t care about the fact they’re threatening and assaulting people, just because they think they have a right to “hunt”, which they don’t even do, they make their dogs do all the dirty work and sit on their horses like they think they know how to ride properly and only lift a finger to shoot the animal after it’s already been mauled. They abuse people, wild animals, their own pets, and that loophole, just because they feel bored. Most of they time they don’t even take the animal’s body for anything, they just kill it and move on to the next. Absolutely deplorable behavior, they’re sociopaths who don’t feel empathy for anyone or anything.

These are the most pathetic “hunters” I've ever seen. They use their dogs to do everything, they rely on horses to move about, and barely lift a finger to, well, actually hunt.
So where exactly is the “skill” in this? Aiming a gun at a dying fox that was already mangled by hounds?
They don't track their quarry by themselves. They don't try to match wits with their prey.
They don't even use their own strength to beat their prey.

They aren't hunters, far from it, they're a buncha rich pansies wearing ridiculous outfits, with the most absurd calls for their dogs.

Some of the “equestrians” also treat their horses like absolute garbage. It’s awful. They are awful. The lather the horses to the point of possible collapse, they run the dogs too hard, they will attack anybody in the way and will hit their horses with metal rakes and spurs.

Spurs are an AID, not a weapon. It is to give tiny signals while keeping the rest of your leg still during high movements. Kicking a horse with a spur is absolute cruelty.
And that’s not the worst they do.

I would have no problem if they muzzled the dogs, treated the horses and dogs (and humans) right, and not kill foxes.
As far as I know, fox hunts in America have basically turned into cross country with maybe some dogs.

You can carry on a tradition, while being more humane. In Spain, they are bullfighting with Velcro now. No damage to the bull, but it still requires the same amount of skill.
Bullying your horse is not a skill. Learn to ride and learn to adapt.

Those horses are being abused and those dogs are being abused. Why aren’t these people in jail, those fox hunter people’s are so cruel and disgusting. Fox hunters have assaulted so many people and they aren’t in jail.

As a hunter of many years, I do not condone this type of sport hunting. It is cruel.
I also do not like trophy hunting. Any deer or game my buddies and I bag goes to the needy in our town. One of my friends church pantries accepts venison.

If you want to know the horse side, here we go:

Horses are also massively abused and poorly ridden in these situations.
They use hard whips, whips aren't meant to be a way to relieve anger or just to hurt an animal. Cantering on roads aren't okay, it damages their hooves. These hunters use their horses to scare people as horses are big animals, which isn't okay.

If nobody will say it, I hope they get trampled and never get back up <3
