Great video, especially since I only recently returned from a six week trip to Mazatlan. I stayed in the Cerritos area and loved Playa Cerritos and Playa Brujas. One other transportation mode is the local bus, very cheap 13 pesos or about .95 cents Cdn, they run so often and will stop for you by just putting your arm up. Some of the bus drivers play music and decorate their buses, very entertaining. I was very apprehensive about going to Mazatlan as the El Chapo's son thing had just happened before we went but apparently nothing happened in the city of Mazatlan just Culiacan. I felt very safe even at night.
You two make a great pair, May gives her Mexican take and advice and Jordan always is informative.

Hi guys. I've spent a lot of time in Mazatlan over many years. It used to be kind of run down, but in the last few years it is greatly improving. I live in Querétaro and would consider Mazatlan, but mid may to September the heat is oppressive. That's the time to be back in QRO!

A friend told me Mazatlan is like Vallarta 10 years ago. That is a compliment. I am waiting on someone to do a tour of Puerto Penasco. I have been here all winter.

Another tip for money is to simply use your debit card to get cash from a bank ATM. The exchange rate is the one charged by your home country bank and therefore better.😊
