'Admirals War - WWII at Sea' from Canvas Temple Publishing

A very quick introduction to this beautiful looking game published in 2019. There are very few games out there that cover WWII at sea in all the theatres at the same time but this game does a serviceable. For those who like the original 'War at Sea' and "Victory in the Pacific" this may very well appeal to you.

We played VITP dozens of times when it came out back in the day.

I just finished a VITP multiple game contest with a friend and was thinking about getting Admirals' War to put both my WAS and VITP together.

Great system. I had both ages ago but I no longer have them on my shelf. I really should try to get a copy of either this game or the old AH games. Midway and Gettysburg are the other two from my high school days that I should get again. Nice map and counters. But I have to say that I think The Kaiser's High Seas Fleet map and counters are so much better.

Thanks for filming, I always liked the idea behind the game but somehow find the actual execution too random - somehow I prefer slightly deeper presentation. I'm really looking forward to both your Kaiser's High Seas Fleet as well as upcoming GMT's Seas of Thunder.

Did you ever do a play through of this game? I recently got Victory at Sea from Compass and picked up a second edition of VITP from Noble Knight. No real copies available now that I can see except a few expensive ones on BGG. I do have Kaisers Fleet on order from Compass. I really like this system.
