Around the time General Qamar Javed Bajwa was to hang up his boots as Pakistan army chief last November, a Pakistani investigative journalism platform had claimed that his family had benefitted from his tenure and become billionaires. The report by Fact Focus claimed Bajwa, along with his family, managed to grow their wealth to the tune of 12.7 billion Pakistani Rupees ($47 million).

I have never completely understood why my father's generation who grew up in East Pakistan hated the Pak military so much. Even though just a few decades before they voted for the creation of pakistan.
In the last 1 year ive understood why? The Pakistani Generals and their egos need to be put in their places if Pakistan has any chance of survival. All the best to the Pakistanis who are struggling for a better country.
