iPod Nano Review (2012)

In this video, I review the latest 7th generation Apple iPod Nano. Apple decided to switch up the design again and make this new Nano super slim with a 2.5 inch display. A couple of the new features include Bluetooth 4.0, the new lighting connector port, and the ability to rewind FM radio. Is this new iPod Nano worth it? Watch and find out!

It was ment to be a music player only.
But wish they sell a 32g and or 64g. Account of there is a micro memory card that sells up to 64g.
So why Apple did not implemented?

These kind of "reviews" KILL ME. While watching a review on an MP3 PLAYER, the SECOND I hear the guy mention non mp3 player related things i'm OUT!!

"But this small mp3 player is not very good for watching movies!"
-Yea cuz its main function is an mp3 player. You watch too much tv anyways. Besides don't you have a laptop/computer?  "But I wanna watch movies on the go" -Ok, dangerous, remember to watch where you're going. Besides, dont you have a smartphone?

"But this mp3 player can't download games. I wanna be able to play angry bird!"
-Of course not its an MP3 PLAYER, besides, don't you have angry bird on your phone?

"Ok well it would be nice if this mp3 player could just download apps in general"
-But its an M-P-3 P-L-A-Y-E-R. You're largest complaint is how it is at being EVERYTHING ELSE. Besides, look at the battery life on your smartphone do you REALLY think that if this M-P-3 P-L-A-Y-E-R could download apps and play games that the battery would last 43h on a single charge?

In conclusion: Mp3 players are not smartphones, they are not EXTRA SMALL small computers. They are little portable devices made for you to listen to large amounts of music for long periods of time.

In other news, my Whirlpool fridge can't be used for gaming...I wouldn't buy it if I were yall!! js!!

I don't think they should have 3rd party apps due to the size of the screen, or at least for games but Netflix and YouTube would be good. Games however, I wouldn't want to play like Angry Birds or some other game people play now with my thumb covering half of the screen.

Lower resolution screen than the 5g incarnation, which also had a video camera.  The 5g iPod Nano was the pinnacle of the nano.

I am not buying I am getting the I pod touch 5g instead. You don't have radio, but it has much more. Photo, video, 1080P video.... Plus longer charging time!

These things don't last 30 hours during music playback. However, they lasted me the whole time on a road trip, so the battery is still good.

It's not "about 2 credit cards" thick. How can you compare it to just 2 cards? Its about 5-6 cards, because of the headphone jack.

With the last gen Touch being sold new for 50 dollars more at the same capacity, I just don't see how this is a good value at all. If it was 100 dollars, or if it was 32GB maybe, but even the battery life and screen alone make the last gen Touch worth the 50 dollars more, not even mentioning apps and the web browser.

I think for a small screen and just video & mp3 player its overpriced for a little more money you can get Google nexus 7 and the different is huge the screen wifi all application jelly bean front camera and more

Shouldve been $50. Apple is going to be put out by Android if they start lowering prices. This new nano is NOT worth $150. You could get an android galaxy player (everything android phone has without phone) for $130.

Although he had the app store and the camera, you would have suggested that it was a mini ipod touch, so I can only say that in both cases you would have something to say, Do not settle NEVER.

Thank you for actually noting the flaws with the screen ( 1:20 ) and for getting into the details of the radio app ( 3:00 ). So many other videos are just regurgitating the same facts from the Apple website! One question though, when you play music with the Music app, and you rotate the Nano sideways, does the "Coverflow" appear? This "feature" has dissuaded me from buying the previous generation Nanos. Thanks.

Here are some thoughts of some people out there: My overall opinion is to just get the previous iPod Nano because you can wear it as a watch, it is small, and their is no need to upgrade from the small ipod to the 7th gen. Honestly theirs no point unless you wanna watch videos or movies on that damn thing which all you probably don't like because of the small screen. That is why save up to get the iPod Touch 5g or Nexus 7. It'll be worth it :)

I agree. Apple is, and always will be a world renowned company. I love my iPod touch and Mac to death... but, if they were to truly listen to their fans opinions, feedback, gear their approach more towards the customers as opposed to the money... and make their products that much cheaper, but still be able to possess the same great quality. They would excel... Although, at the moment I think Google does have them beat.
